The Collections Process

In the rare event you experience a non-paying bidder, the decision on whether or not to start a collection is always entirely up to you: the seller. If you decide to initiate a collection, you will find that using ReliaBid's "click through" service is easy and efficient. It only takes a few clicks to login and select the offending auction. Our system will automatically collect and pre-fill information on the non-paying bidder from your auction details and allow you to enter any additional information you may have. All you have to do from there is click a button to authorize General Outsourcing to go to work on your behalf.

General Outsourcing Services, Inc. is a nationally licensed debt collection firm and a member of the American Collections Association. Once you click collect, they immediately begin the collections process against the non-paying bidder. They will use the information submitted to find a match of the person who has not paid you. The non-paying bidder will then receive a series of up to four letters from the collection agency alerting him/her of their payment obligations. In the unlikely event that you still do not receive payment, you may have the option to ask General Outsourcing to report the non-paying bidder to major credit bureaus, which may adversely affect the credit of the non-paying bidder.
